WHY IT MATTERS

Find Products That Sell on eBay

Buying stock on a hunch is one of the most expensive mistakes a seller can make. A product can look popular and still be crowded, cheap or awkward to ship.

We use eBay sold listings and pricing data to find products with real demand. Then we work out fees and shipping, so you see the profit before you order.

eBay gives sellers its own data for this. Its eBay research tools, including Product Research in Seller Hub, show price trends and sales history. We combine that data with competitor checks and simple margin maths, so every idea gets a clear yes, no or test.

COMMON SOURCING MISTAKES

Where eBay product choices go wrong

Jumping on trends late

By the time something looks hot, dozens of sellers may already be listing it.

Forgetting real costs

eBay fees, postage and returns can turn a good price into a loss.

Too many sellers

Markets full of identical listings leave little room for a newcomer, except on price.

Unreliable suppliers

Late or poor-quality stock brings returns and bad feedback.

Restricted items

Some products need approval, or can’t be sold in certain categories.

Ordering too much

Big first orders tie up cash for months before demand is even tested.

WHO IT'S FOR

For new sellers
picking first products.
And stores adding
a new range.

It helps if you’re starting from zero, or if your store is doing well and you want to add a new category without guessing.

You make every buying decision. We give you the data, the margin maths and our honest view of each product.

Nexus researches eBay products for sellers in Pakistan and abroad. A simple check we use: look at the last 90 days of sold listings, count active competitors, then work out profit after every fee. If the numbers don’t work on paper, they won’t work in real life.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

eBay product research
questions, answered.

Have a product idea you want checked?

Talk to Nexus
How do you research products on eBay?

We look at sold listings, sell-through rates, price ranges and the number of active sellers, then add fees and shipping to estimate profit.

How many products are in a report?

Usually 10 to 20 researched ideas in 1 or 2 categories, ranked from strongest to weakest. Each idea shows demand, competition, price range and estimated profit after fees.

Do you find suppliers too?

We suggest suppliers to contact and what to ask them about quality, minimum order and delivery time. You place the orders and approve every purchase yourself.

Is this useful for Shopify or Amazon?

The research is based on eBay data, but the demand and margin findings often help when planning other channels too.

Can you promise a product will sell?

No. Research lowers the risk, but markets change. We always suggest testing with a small quantity first.

What is a good sell-through rate on eBay?

Sell-through rate is sold listings divided by sold plus active listings. Higher means items move faster. There is no single magic number, so we compare it with prices, competition and your margin before suggesting a product.

How long does eBay product research take?

Most reports are ready within 5–7 days. If you want research across several categories, we split it into stages so you can start testing the best ideas sooner.

Which categories do you research?

Most categories, such as home and kitchen, fashion, electronics accessories, toys and car parts. We avoid restricted or high-risk items and tell you early if a category needs approval.
