WHY IT MATTERS

Why Regular Website Maintenance Matters

Websites need care. WordPress core, themes and plugins need updates, backups need testing, and content changes come up every week.

A website maintenance plan keeps all of that handled. You get a team that knows your site, and you stop worrying about it.

For WordPress, we follow the official Hardening WordPress guidance: strong logins, fewer plugins, regular updates and safe file permissions. Every update is done after a fresh backup, so any problem can be rolled back in minutes.

WHAT HAPPENS WITHOUT MAINTENANCE

Risks of an unmanaged website

Hacks and malware

Outdated plugins are one of the most common ways sites get hacked.

No working backup

Without tested backups, one mistake or failed update can wipe the whole site.

Broken forms

Forms stop sending leads and nobody notices for weeks, until the phone goes quiet.

Slower pages

Sites slow down as content, plugins and traffic grow.

Outdated content

Old offers and details make the business look inactive.

Waiting for help

Small edits take days when no one is responsible.

WHO IT'S FOR

For businesses that
rely on their website.
But don’t have
a developer.

It fits if your website brings in enquiries, bookings or sales and you can’t afford for it to go down.

Pick a monthly plan that fits. Every update and fix is logged, and you get a short summary each month.

Nexus looks after websites for businesses in Pakistan and abroad. Most plans include 2–4 hours of content edits a month, weekly or daily backups kept for at least 30 days, and a monthly test of every contact form.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Website maintenance
questions, answered.

Worried about your website?

Talk to Nexus
Which websites do you maintain?

Mostly WordPress and Shopify, plus other platforms after a quick review. We check hosting, plugins and backups first, then suggest the right plan.

What happens if my site gets hacked?

On a plan, we restore a clean backup, remove the cause and secure the site, usually within 1 working day. Clean-ups for sites not on a plan are quoted separately.

How often do you update plugins?

Usually every 1–2 weeks, after a backup, and straight away for critical security updates. We test key pages and forms after every update.

How fast do you respond to requests?

Response times are set in your plan. Urgent problems, such as the site being down or forms not working, are handled first.

Do you maintain sites you didn’t build?

Yes. We start with a health check to understand the setup, fix urgent issues, and then move to regular monthly care.

What does a website maintenance plan include?

Software updates, backups, uptime and security monitoring, speed checks, small content edits and a monthly report. Bigger changes, like new features, are quoted separately.

Do you keep backups off the server?

Yes. Backups are stored in a separate location, not only on your hosting, so the site can be restored even if the server itself fails.
